Anodizing Service

Anodizing is our electrochemical surface treatment service for aluminum parts. This process creates a dense aluminum oxide film on the surface. It significantly improves corrosion resistance, wear resistance, hardness, and decorative appearance. Anodizing is a value-added service we provide alongside CNC machining. We offer three types: sulfuric acid anodizing (standard), hard anodizing (wear-resistant), and colored anodizing (decorative). Applications span automotive components, electronic housings, optical instruments, sports equipment, architectural hardware, and consumer products. Every anodizing job we deliver meets strict quality standards.

Our anodizing service covers all aluminum alloys including cast alloys (A356, ADC12) and wrought alloys (6061, 7075, 5083, 2024). Standard sulfuric acid anodizing produces film thickness of 5-20μm. Hard anodizing reaches 30-80μm with hardness HV300-500. Colored anodizing offers black, gold, red, blue, green, and many other colors. After coloring, we use sealing processes (hot water or medium-temperature sealing) to ensure color fastness. Colors stay vibrant without fading or rubbing off. Our anodizing line uses constant-temperature rectifiers and automatic temperature control. Bath temperature accuracy is within ±1°C. Film thickness uniformity is within ±2μm.

Quality control for anodizing focuses on film thickness, seal quality, and color consistency. We use eddy current thickness gauges (non-destructive) to measure film thickness on every batch. Seal quality is tested via dye spot test per ASTM B136. Color is measured with a colorimeter to ensure batch-to-batch consistency (ΔE≤1.5). Our anodized products pass 480+ hours of salt spray testing (ASTM B117). Anodizing is a supporting service we offer to customers. Parts go directly from CNC machining to anodizing in our facility. This saves intermediate transport and coordination time. Standard delivery is 3-7 days (depending on quantity and color requirements). We accept customer-supplied parts. We also support one-stop procurement from machining to anodizing. Standard warranty is 1 year.
