Precision Machining for Complex Geometries

 

Pump housing machining presents unique challenges. Multiple flange faces need parallel and perpendicular alignment. The internal cavity must maintain precise clearance with the impeller. Threaded holes and mounting surfaces must meet sealing requirements. Our machining strategy uses "one setup, multi-face machining." We use 4-axis machining centers to complete flanges, cavities, and mounting holes in a single clamping. This approach eliminates cumulative errors from repeated setups. For pump housings from DN50 to DN300, we consistently achieve flange flatness within 0.05mm and sealing groove roughness at Ra≤1.6μm. We also use pneumatic gauges for internal bore inspection with 0.001mm accuracy. Every iron pump housing we machine meets these tight specifications.

Comprehensive Testing and Reliable Support

 

Pump housing undergoes stricter testing than ordinary parts. Every batch goes through hydrostatic testing at 1.5 times working pressure for 5 minutes with no leakage. This test verifies that the casting has no sand holes or porosity. We also perform dye penetrant inspection (PT) on all sealing surfaces to detect micro-cracks. All test data goes into the quality history file and accompanies the product to the customer. Our on-time delivery rate is 98.2%. The batch defect rate is below 200ppm. We understand that a failed pump housing can shut down an entire water system. That is why we use custom wooden crates or reinforced pallets for shipping. This protects threads and flanges during ocean transport. For emergency replacement needs, we keep semi-finished stock of common sizes. Repeat orders ship in 15 days. Custom pump housing development takes about 45 days (including casting mold development). We accept paid samples. First-piece approval is required before mass production. We accept orders starting from 1 piece.
