Forged flange is our forged flange solution for piping connections. Compared to cast flanges, forged flanges offer superior mechanical properties. Forging eliminates internal porosity and shrinkage. It refines grain structure. This enables flanges to withstand higher pressures and more severe temperature variations. Our forged flanges serve petrochemical pipeline systems, high-pressure boilers, pressure vessels, marine piping, and nuclear power equipment. Types include weld neck flanges, slip-on flanges, blind flanges, threaded flanges, and lap joint flanges. Materials cover carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. Every forged flange we produce delivers reliable sealing and long service life.
Precision Machining for Sealing Surfaces
Our forged flange blanks come from specialized forging partners using closed-die or open-die forging. We complete precision machining in our own factory. Flange machining challenges center on sealing surface accuracy and bolt hole position. Sealing surfaces (RF, FF, or RTJ ring groove) are finish-machined on CNC vertical lathes. Surface roughness reaches Ra≤1.6μm for RF faces and Ra≤0.8μm for RTJ ring groove faces. Flatness is controlled within 0.05mm. Bolt holes are machined on CNC drilling machines or machining centers. Hole position accuracy is within ±0.2mm. Our forged flange sizes range from DN15 to DN800. Pressure ratings range from Class 150 to Class 2500. We serve low-pressure to ultra-high-pressure applications. Every forged flange we produce meets the required pressure rating.
Strict Quality Control and Documentation
We machine forged flanges per ASME B16.5, DIN, EN, or customer-specified standards strictly. Quality control includes sealing surface dimension and roughness inspection, bolt hole pitch circle position inspection (CMM), outer/inner diameter and thickness inspection, and hardness testing. For flanges with pressure requirements, we also offer hydrostatic testing and ultrasonic testing (UT) as value-added services. Complete dimensional inspection reports and material certificates accompany every forged flange shipment. Our forged flanges are approved by multiple petrochemical engineering companies. They are used in overseas project pipelines. Standard production is 25-45 days (forging + machining, depending on size and quantity). We accept small-batch customization. Standard warranty is 1 year for material defects and machining quality. Our pricing is competitive due to full integration from blank procurement to machining.
