Lightweight High-Strength Aluminum Brackets

 

Aluminum forged bracket is our forging solution for lightweight structural brackets. These brackets offer one-third the weight of steel brackets with high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and superior appearance quality. Compared to cast aluminum brackets, forged aluminum brackets have denser structure with no internal porosity or shrinkage. Mechanical properties are more stable. Our aluminum forged brackets serve aerospace structural components, automotive suspension systems (control arm brackets), motorcycle and bicycle frame connectors, industrial robot arm brackets, and communication equipment support structures. Every aluminum forged bracket we produce delivers strength and weight savings.

Closed-Die Forging and Heat Treatment

 

We use closed-die forging for aluminum forged brackets. Materials include 6061, 7075, 6082, and 2024 aluminum alloys. After forging, we apply T6 heat treatment (solution + aging) for optimal strength. 6061-T6 achieves tensile strength above 310MPa and yield strength above 275MPa. 7075-T6 achieves tensile strength above 570MPa and yield strength above 505MPa. This reaches strength levels comparable to some steels at one-third the weight. Single piece weight ranges from 0.1kg to 10kg. Maximum outer dimension is 500×300×150mm. Our aluminum forged brackets serve applications from small precision brackets to medium structural components.

Precision Machining and Surface Finishing

 

For aluminum forged bracket machining, we use 4-axis and 5-axis machining centers with custom fixtures. We complete all mounting surfaces, mounting holes, and locating grooves in a single setup. This is critical for position accuracy between mounting holes. Our aluminum forged brackets achieve mounting hole position accuracy within ±0.03mm. Mounting surface flatness is within 0.02mm. Perpendicularity is within 0.02mm per 100mm. For surface finishing, we offer sandblasting + anodizing (natural or colored). This improves corrosion resistance and provides uniform attractive appearance. No forging scale, scratches, or dents remain. Quality control includes ultrasonic testing for internal defects, hardness testing for T6 uniformity, CMM dimensional inspection, and anodizing film thickness measurement. Complete material test reports, heat treatment records, UT reports, and dimensional reports accompany every batch. Warranty is 3 years. Standard production is 35-50 days. We accept orders starting from 1 piece.
