High-Strength Brass Forged Fittings

Brass forged fitting is our forging solution for brass pipe connectors and mechanical fittings. Brass offers excellent corrosion resistance, electrical/thermal conductivity, and machinability. It is widely used in plumbing, pneumatic piping, electrical connections, and instrumentation. Compared to cast brass fittings, forged brass fittings have denser structure with no internal porosity or shrinkage. Pressure and impact resistance are significantly higher. Our brass forged fittings serve building water supply systems, gas pipelines, compressed air lines, hydraulic lines, and electrical grounding connections. Every brass forged fitting we produce delivers reliable sealing and long service life.

Hot Forging and Thread Rolling Process

Our brass forged fittings use hot die forging with H59, H62, and H65 brass. Forging temperature is controlled at 700-800°C with air cooling after forging. Forged fitting advantages include continuous metal flow lines along the fitting profile and no casting defects. Pressure rating is 30-50% higher than cast fittings. We produce all standard fitting types including male/female threaded fittings, unions, elbows, tees, crosses, and caps. Sizes range from 1/8" to 4" (NPT, BSPT, or BSPP thread standards). Every brass forged fitting we produce meets the required pressure rating.

Precision Machining and 100% Thread Inspection

Brass forged fitting machining uses high-precision CNC lathes and automatic tapping machines. Thread machining is our core process. We use thread rolling (not cutting) for external threads. Rolled threads have 20% higher strength than cut threads with smoother surface and smoother assembly. Internal threads are tapped with thread go/no-go gauges for 100% inspection. Hexagonal flats are CNC milled for consistent wrench engagement. Thread seal taper angles are precisely controlled per ASME B1.20.1 or BS 21. Quality control includes chemical composition analysis (spectrometer verifying copper content and impurities), hardness testing, hydrostatic testing per customer pressure requirements, and 100% thread gauge inspection. Appearance is inspected under 6000K light with no scratches, dents, or burrs allowed. Complete material test reports and hydrostatic test records accompany every batch. Standard production is 20-30 days. Stock sizes ship quickly. We accept orders starting from 1 piece. Standard warranty is 1 year.
