Our CNC thread turning covers all thread standards: metric (M series), UNF/UNC, pipe threads (NPT, BSPP, BSPT), trapezoidal threads (Tr series), and customer-customized non-standard threads. We machine both external and internal threads in all metal and engineering plastic materials. Every thread we cut meets exacting gauge standards.
Precision Thread Cutting Capability
We have multiple CNC turning centers with C-axis and thread cutting functions. These machines complete outer diameter, end faces, internal bores, and threads in a single setup. Precision control is our core advantage. We use machines with electronic synchronous thread cutting. This ensures accurate thread starting positions and uniform depth of cut per pass. After machining, all threads are 100% inspected with thread gauges (go/no-go gauges). Thread accuracy meets the standard where go gauge passes fully and no-go gauge stops within 3 turns. Our CNC thread turning achieves surface roughness Ra≤1.6μm with complete thread profiles, no burrs, and no damage.
Gauge Management and Precision Verification
Quality control for thread machining emphasizes gauge management. Our thread gauges are calibrated by third-party metrology institutions every 6-12 months. This ensures inspection accuracy. For high-precision thread parts, we also use CMM thread scanning for precise pitch angle and pitch measurement. Every batch includes thread inspection records before shipment. Customers can see go and no-go gauge results for each product. Our CNC thread turning handles thread sizes from M1.6×0.35 to M100×6. This covers the vast majority of industrial needs. We accept orders starting from 1 piece. Prototyping takes 3-7 days. Batch production takes 10-30 days. Standard warranty is 1 year. We offer corrosion protection treatments including coating, phosphating, zinc plating, and Dacromet for outdoor or marine applications.
