Our aluminum pump housing is cast from A356 or ADC12 aluminum alloy and precision machined to final dimensions. It delivers both strength and corrosion resistance.

Precision Machining for Thin-Wall Structures

 

Aluminum pump housing machining presents unique challenges. The thin-wall structure is prone to deformation under cutting forces. Bearing bores and sealing grooves require extremely high precision. We use dedicated fixturing with pneumatic clamping devices. Clamping force is adjustable and evenly distributed. This prevents local deformation from excessive clamping pressure. For cutting strategy, we use PCD tools with high spindle speeds and appropriate feed rates. This achieves low-stress machining on thin-wall sections. Our aluminum pump housing bearing bore roundness is controlled within 0.008mm. Cylindricity is within 0.015mm. Sealing groove roughness reaches Ra≤0.8μm. These tolerances meet the strict requirements of O-ring sealing applications.

Rigorous Testing and Full Traceability

 

Quality control is the most critical part of aluminum pump housing production. Every batch undergoes full dimensional inspection after machining. Our HEXAGON CMM checks bearing bore dimensions, flange flatness, and thread hole positions. For pump housings with sealing requirements, we perform air-tightness testing at 0.6MPa air pressure for 2 minutes. Pressure drop must not exceed 0.01MPa. For appearance, we perform 100% visual inspection under 6000K light. No porosity, shrinkage, or scratches are allowed. Each qualified product receives a QC PASS label and an independent serial number (SN code). This enables full traceability from raw material to finished part. Our aluminum pump housing is available as a one-stop service from casting to finished machining. Standard production takes 30-45 days. Repeat orders ship in 10-15 days. Standard warranty is 3 years.
