Flexible Casting Process Selection

 

We have extensive experience in aluminum casting. We offer gravity casting, low-pressure casting, and high-pressure die casting. We recommend the most suitable process based on product structure and application. For high air-tightness requirements, we recommend low-pressure casting. For high-volume thin-wall parts, we recommend high-pressure die casting. Our aluminum materials cover A356, ADC12, A380, ZL101, and customer-specified special alloys. All aluminum housing castings undergo T5 or T6 heat treatment. This relieves casting stress and improves strength and hardness. Every aluminum housing casting we produce meets the specific needs of each application.

Precision Machining and Dimensional Control

 

Aluminum housing machining challenges include thin-wall deformation control and thread hole accuracy. Our solutions include dedicated fixturing with pneumatic or hydraulic clamping. Clamping force is uniform and adjustable. We optimize cutting parameters with high speed, small depth of cut, and wide stepover. This reduces cutting forces on the workpiece. We use single-crystal diamond or PCD tools for mirror-like surface finish. For complex internal cavities, we use 5-axis machining centers to complete all operations in one setup. This avoids cumulative errors from multiple setups. Our aluminum housing casting can have wall thickness as thin as 2mm. Flatness is controlled within 0.05mm. Thread hole position accuracy is ±0.03mm. Quality control focuses on surface quality and dimensional accuracy. We use CMM to inspect hole positions, mounting surface heights, and bearing bore dimensions. For sealing surfaces, we perform strict visual inspection under 6000K light. We check for scratches, porosity, and shrinkage. For housings with sealing requirements, we perform air-tightness testing at specified pressure with pressure drop within the limit. Only parts with QC PASS labels are packed for shipment. Our aluminum housing casting is well-regarded in the automotive industry. Standard housing orders take 30-45 days (including mold development). Repeat orders ship in 10-15 days. We accept orders starting from 1 piece. Paid samples are available. Warranty is 3-5 years upon negotiation.
