Long-Lasting Wear Resistant Castings

Wear resistant casting is our solution for high-abrasion applications. These castings serve mining machinery, cement and building materials equipment, construction machinery, and agricultural machinery. Our wear resistant casting includes high manganese steel (ZGMn13), low-alloy wear-resistant steel, and high-chromium cast iron. Typical products include crusher jaw plates, ball mill liners, excavator bucket teeth, bulldozer blades, hammers, and grinding rollers. Buyers in mining and construction need parts that last. Our wear resistant casting delivers extended service life.

High Manganese Steel Expertise

High manganese steel ZGMn13 is our most produced wear resistant casting material. This material work-hardens under high impact loads. Surface hardness increases from HB200 to over HB500 during use. The part gets harder with use while the interior stays tough and crack-resistant. Our high manganese steel casting uses water toughening treatment. We heat castings to 1050-1080°C and hold for the proper time. Then we water-quench rapidly to obtain fully austenitic structure. This ensures excellent toughness and work-hardening capability. We strictly control water entry temperature and time. Every wear resistant casting receives uniform microstructure. Our process delivers consistent quality across all batches.

Machining and Quality Control

Machining wear resistant casting is difficult due to work hardening. High manganese steel surface hardens rapidly during cutting. This causes severe tool wear. We use high-power CNC milling machines and lathes. We use ceramic or CBN inserts. We cut quickly before the work-hardened layer forms. We use high feed rates and appropriate depth of cut. Abundant coolant flushes chips away and prevents secondary hardening damage. Our machined jaw plates and liner mounting surfaces are accurate. This ensures smooth installation at the customer's site. Quality control for wear resistant casting focuses on hardness and impact toughness. We take samples from each heat for impact testing (per GB/T 229 or ASTM E23). We check hardness using a Brinell tester. Initial hardness after water toughening should be HB180-230 for high manganese steel. For high-chromium cast iron, we check hardness (HRC58-62) and carbide morphology. All test results are recorded and provided with the shipment. Our wear resistant casting is approved by multiple mining equipment manufacturers. We have supplied them for over three years. Our pricing is competitive and offers excellent value. Standard wear resistant casting orders take 30-45 days. Rush orders can be expedited. We accept orders starting from 1 piece. Volume orders receive tiered pricing. All products come with warranty. We replace any product that fails due to quality issues during the warranty period.
